Alte Mühle in Lubeck

We discovered the old mill while walking past on the way to our hotel. Inconspicuous from the outside, a beautiful restaurant with a great beer garden is hidden inside. From the ambience, to the food, to the friendly service, everything was perfect here. Good portions at a fair price and the many different types of beer make the heart of every beer lover beat faster.

Delicious. And the hygiene concept is a smooth one. Table location, cards are disinfected, Wiped tables. The waitress also wears a face mask. That's how it should be.

A great place, the food was worth every penny. The staff are nice, friendly and accommodating. Be sure to reserve a table! Whenever we're in Lübeck again, we'll be back. PS: the lamb fillet is a dream !!!

Dining room on the outskirts of the city center with a solid kitchen, attentive service and large ventilation. Unfortunately not unimportant at the moment.

This is one of the best restaurants in Lübeck. Price-performance ratio is great, the food is excellent and the service is super friendly and courteous. There isn't much more to say. We'd love to come back!

We ate there twice within three days. Really delicious food, good service and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the chanterelle dishes from the special menu weren't quite as good as hoped. The sauces tasted like they were out of the package, as there was no spices or anything else on them. The steak, lamb and pork on the menu are unbeatable

A really unique evening. Despite a good visit, a table was set for us at short notice. All special requests were met. The tarte flambée are among the best we've eaten so far and the price-performance ratio was really good. In addition, it is really beautifully located, away from the old town, which we then marveled at from the most beautiful perspective on the way back along the Trave.

Very, very nice, friendly staff, the food was delicious and highly recommended. The ambience is somewhat rustic and yet also romantic. Are now the second evening and would always come back.

The staff was really very friendly and the food was super delicious. They get one star less because we had to wait a long time until we were served and with me they forgot the meat for the dish. However, when we pointed this out to them, came quite quickly. On the whole, you can really recommend it and the view is really nice.

Very pictoresquely decorated restaurant, but if you are vegan you should not go to this place. No choice other than chopped, raw veggies, and no attempt to adjust dishes in the menu for customers with dietary requirements.

Our tarte flambée were very good and extremely tasty. Staff names have been a little rude. We took food.

Super delicious and fast finished. The staff is very nice and totally accommodating. Very atmospheric and great design. Also suitable for larger events. You should pre-order, because apparently many know how good it is here. I will try to come more often.

Staff friendly and location very nice. The lamb was all but not well cooked (overcooked and of poor meat quality). The potatoes in the gratin were also totally overcooked. That dish was a maximum of one star. The flammkuchen was okay, eventually four stars. If it were cheaper it would be a place to have a bite to eat in between. Wine list is nice. So avoid eating, have a nice glass of wine and move on.

The Old Mill in Lübeck - located directly on the mill pond - is a very special place. But what the current owners of the restaurant have made of it is something special in every way. In the summer of 2018, I was allowed to enjoy a tarte flambée in the beer garden behind the restaurant. At the end of my stay I then took a look at the actual restaurant. It is very modern and comfortably furnished. I will gladly come again........

Great food, rather not at all expensive. Service is pleasant, but a bit slow, especially during peak hours. Awesome place to eat.

Great German food in a classic mill. Worth a visit if you're in Lübeck and desiring a real German experience.

Great classical ambience. Offers a good variety from Italian to Mexican dishes. Major specialty being the traditional "Flammkuchen" Very helpful staff.
